Fifteen Years With WordPress

I still love WordPress. I have blogged on this website for fifteen years.

(WordPress used to send us personal anniversary notices celebrating our time here. I don’t know why that stopped)

One year before then in January 2006 to July 2007 I was blogging on another site before I came upon this one.

I started on WordPress August 7, 2007

Like I have said within the past WordPress is the best blogging platform out there. We also have such a large variety of wonderful, talented writers.

I have seen many come and go, some still here enjoying what they do. Even when some of us are caught up within our busy lifestyles or just take a long or short break we eventually return back to what we love- our writing and creating with our artistic visions.

All of my material is written by me, the designs of my blogs are created by me, and the photos are all chosen and put up by me.

A lot of us who are into being naturally inventive with our originality have fun! Yet, it is also spirit that inspires me to use my gift.

Whatever our endeavors we should always remain authentic.

WordPress is a great community to be a part of whether one chooses to regularly interact with others or not.

I am always going to be active on all seven of my blogs whether frequently or periodically:

For my audience who are unaware:

Late Night Entertainment

I spent last weekend catching up on and enjoying my favorite television programs and entertaining movies. I stayed up almost all night. I retired when nothing else was on that interested me.

Then, there was a night in which I had various sets of great programs lined up for me to watch yet I was too tired to view them all. I tried my best, however, sleep creeped upon me and I had to go to bed.

Last night, I was at it again, starting off my weekend ready for more television.

After watching an action packed crime show, and a old 1980’s two episode comedy show, I viewed the old classic Alfred Hitchcock flick Dial M For Murder. I had actually never seen that movie even though I have been aware of it for years through advertisements. It was such a great film, but most of Hitchcock’s presentations are anyway.

My Blogs

Writing is such a fantastic talent and gift to have and I am consumed with the natural energy to write through spirit whenever I’m moved to create and express.

When I write, it’s not about getting people to read, I don’t care if nobody ever read my literature, I will always continue to write and speak my truths and experiences regardless, it’s genuinely about a driven force within me carrying out what I was born to do and the universe allowing me to do so within my connection unto it.

And, I understand the vibration completely and it is intangible.

It is mysterious how spirit and destiny works.

Classics Galore!

I viewed some more good old black and white noirs last night up until the early morning around 3am I just love the ambience and scenery in which many of these good flicks project.

I can be entertained by them anytime of the day, nevertheless, I like those times during the evening, with the lights out quiet in the dark or dim lit, with my full attention focused on the suspense, thrill, and fun anticipation, and I reflect with a great appreciation for the era and creativity from back in the day.

First, I watched a film titled “The House On Telegraph Hill”, which I really enjoyed, it starred Valentina Cortese along with William Lundigan, Fay Baker, Richard Basehart, and Gordon Gebert.

Then, I checked out “Out Of The Past”, which starred Robert Mitchum, Jane Greer, and Kirk Douglas.

A few weeks ago I watched “Possessed” with Joan Crawford, Van Heflin, Raymond Massey, and Geraldine Brooks. “Clash By Night” with Barbara Stanwyck, Marilyn Monroe, Paul Douglas, Robert Ryan, and Keith Andes. “Born To Kill” with Claire Trevor, Lawrence Tierney, Audrey Long, Phillip Terry and Walter Slezak.

There was another two black and white movies a few months ago I kept missing while I just glimpsed at bits and pieces of them while I was in the midst of doing something around my home. I can’t wait to catch up with these two films in their entirety when they are featured back on.

Midge And Moose

As I’ve written years ago a few times I was enveloped in the comic world of Riverdale and it’s comical and entertaining fictional characters.

Archie’s comics were a great and occupying part of my childhood and also part of my adulthood as I still buy/order, read and enjoy them today.

I’ve never watched the modern television show/series that is on nowadays on WPIX channel eleven as I have no interest in the drama.

It’s the old classical style comics that hold my interest and one particular one that I remember as a child was a sketch about Moose Mason and Midge Klump.

Midge had went away on vacation and she spoke with Moose over the phone, I think she was on the phone with him because it was so long ago and I’ve read so much stuff through out the years, anyway when Midge talked to Moose she told him to send her a wire (meaning a letter).

When he actually did mail a envelope out to her at her location it literally was a metal wire that was included inside and Midge was dumbfounded.

It was so cutely funny to me and I thought that it was just part of the writer’s creative imagination as I didn’t assume anyone could be that idiotic even though Moose’s character was always kind of slow always saying “Duh” before he spoke and all.

I found out as I got older that I was wrong.

A guy that was in his sixties use to come by my house from time to time when I was in my twenties. He couldn’t read and he was ignorant. I’m not saying that he was ignorant because he couldn’t read he was just the type that was lacking knowledge in general and wasn’t able to rise above it due to his mentality and lifestyle.

Nevertheless, we got on the subject of hereditary. And I was saying that my genes were a little different than one of my other relatives because we didn’t have the same parental bloodline.

So he stopped me while I was in the middle of explaining and uttered out to me, “Hey cool” (how he referenced me). “Now, what a pair of pants got to do with this?”

This guy didn’t know the difference of definition between genes and jeans. He didn’t even know there were two different words just with the same sound.

Right then and there I had remembered that sketch and I hollered inside now understanding just how real art imitated life to that ludicrous degree.

When I told a few people about it back then they laughed and they were like “He’s that dumb”. And I was like “Yeah”.
